OxeBox Abandoned Cart feature has 3 sections : to configure your email campaigns, see the analytics and history of your campaigns. Each one of them is described in detail below:


Abandoned Cart Settings


1) Enable abandoned cart feature:


By default abandoned cart feature is disabled, that means no emails are triggered if the feature is turned off. To start sending automated abandoned cart emails you need to turn on this feature first using the toggle button.



Following settings/options are available when you enable the cart feature.:


  • Sender name: Sender name will be the name that is displayed when customers receives an email in their inbox. You should keep the sender name as your store or business address.
  • Sender Email: Sender email is the email-id from where abandoned cart emails will be sent. As of now all the emails are sent from abandoned.carts@oxebox.com email address and its not possible to change this setting.


2) Enable abandoned cart emails


Shopify merchants can automate sending up to 3 emails for every cart that is abandoned by customers. By default, all the 3 emails are disabled. 

To start sending cart reminder emails you need to enable at least one or all of the emails. 


Following settings/options are available for each of the 3 abandoned cart emails:


  • Email Subject: This will be the subject line of your abandoned cart reminder emails.
  • When do you want to send your first email: As the title displays, here you can setup when you want the emails to get triggered after that cart is marked as abandoned. As soon as a cart is created, the emails are scheduled, and if customer has done the purchase before any of the emails are sent, all the scheduled emails are cancelled.
  • You can configure emails to be sent from as early as one hour after the customer has created a cart. Maximum time you can set for an email to be sent is 15 days from the date when cart is created. Default interval set for all three abandoned cart emails is 2 hours, 1 day and 3 days respectively.
  • Edit Email Template: By default OxeBox provides 3 predefined email template.  Using this option you can modify the contents of email with an out-of-the-box email editor.
  • Restore Default Template: If you have accidentally modified/deleted the content of default email templates, you can restore the original template with this option.
  • Preview Email: Click this option to view the email that is currently set to be send.


3) Edit & Save Email Templates for Your Abandoned Cart Campaigns

    Repeat this following steps for all the email reminders that you have enabled.

1. Click on Edit Default Template button

2. Email editor opens up with the selected template. 

3. Click on the company logo icon in editor and upload the logo of your business.




                    4. Change text of any changes to sections if you have to.

                    5. Save the template with “Save Email Template” button.


You’re all set now. Your customers will receive email notifications whenever they leave behind items in the cart and don’t complete the checkout process on your Shopify store.


2) Abandoned Cart Analytics:

      Analytics section gives you an a snapshot of activities happening around customers abandoned cart. Some of the stats displayed on this page are:


Amount:

  1. Total Abandoned Value: Combined value of all the carts that have been abandoned so far

  2. Recovered Value: Combined value of all the carts that have been recovered i.e. customers bought the items post OxeBox abandoned cart emails

              

Engagement:

  1. Total Emails Sent: This represents total number of emails sent as a result of abandoned cart campaigns created

  2. Customers Engaged: This shows the unique number of customers that have been approached with cart reminder emails.


Activity:

  1. Total Abandoned Carts: A count of all the carts that have been abandoned so far.
  2. Recovered Carts: Count of all carts that have been recovered i.e. customers bought the items post OxeBox abandoned cart emails.
  3. Recoverable Carts: Count of all the carts that have customers email address present, and may have a future scope of converting to actual sales.
  4. Anonymous carts: Count of all the carts that don’t have email address associated with them so no email notifications can be triggered or cart can’t be recovered.


3) Abandoned Cart History:

Abandoned cart history section lists all the carts that are maked abandoned and thus email activity has been initiated. 

Email status field display, what all emails have been sent and when or if they are still pending.

Cart Status field can be recovered, recoverable or anonymous depending on if the cart has been recovered as a action of emails sent etc...
